Custom title design explorations for Childish Gambino’s album, initially titled Operation Highjump! and shot by Ibra Ake.
inspired by heavy metal logos, psychedelic posters, and jazz album covers, several typographic proposals were developed.
The final design was approved but not released, following a last-minute title change to Awaken, My Love!, ultimately launched without typography to highlight the iconic cover photo.
